Jon Rizzo –Lead Vocals/Rhythm Guitar

Jonathan Rizzo is a natural born performer. He’s been amazing audiences since early childhood. Never far from his guitar, Jon spends hours playing music to be heard throughout the Rizzo household. His determination and passion for his craft has afforded this 24 year old self taught musician, singer/songwriter many opportunities. The lyrics in his songs and depth in his melodic interpretations show a maturity far beyond his years.

While Jon has a great appreciation for all genres of music, his roots stem from the oldies. His first musical influence was his father, Paul, who is the founder and front man of New York’s classic rock band, “The Relics.” He grew up on Lennon and McCartney with The Beatles, Don Henley with The Eagles, and Billy Joel to

name a few, but his new school style is evident in his raspy tone reminiscent of John Rzeznik, Rob Thomas, Ken Block, and Emerson Hart.

Jonathan is currently the front man and rhythm guitarist of the summer sensation “Undercover” as well as the bassist for “The Turn,” an original band from Long Island who placed 7th out of 1500 in an international battle of the bands in 2008. As the newest member of “Artificial Flavor,” Jon once again finds himself up on stage playing and singing his heart out, taking pride in being recognized as “The face of flavor.”
